Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and (for password sign-ups) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your basic profile and email from that provider.
• Website & SEO data — the URLs of sites you add, and the pages, metadata, and content our crawler reads from those sites in order to analyze them.
• Connected accounts — if you connect Google Search Console, we store an encrypted access token and read your search performance data (queries, clicks, impressions, positions). If you connect a CMS (WordPress, Ghost, Shopify), we store the credentials you provide, encrypted at rest.
• Billing information — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe does. We keep your plan and subscription status.
• Usage & technical data — logs, IP address, and basic device information, used for security, rate-limiting, and debugging.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To crawl and analyze the sites you add and generate content and recommendations.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send you transactional email (verification, password resets, support replies).
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party processors

We share data with service providers strictly to run the Service, including: Supabase (database & file storage), Stripe (payments), Anthropic and Replicate (AI text and image generation), Google (OAuth & Search Console), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service. We do not sell your personal information.

AI-generated content

To generate articles and cover images, the topics and site context you provide are sent to our AI providers (Anthropic, Replicate). We do not use your private data to train third-party models beyond what is necessary to fulfill your request.

Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure forms. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete a site (and all of its crawl and content data) at any time, and you can request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@rankevra.com.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive credentials, and follow industry-standard practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you.
